3D scanning is the process of capturing real world objects or environmental geometry and converting it to digital data. This data can later be manipulated, corrected, and adjusted to reverse engineer parts and recreate them in ways not possible before.
With photogrametry we take hundreds of photos of your object capturing its positioning in space. These photos are then mapped in the digital space, and used to create a geometric mesh representing you're object.
With the Faro Laser Arm Scanner we capture object data in real time to recreate it digitally. Using this process we can create 1:1 replicas of you're parts retaining every last detail.
